May 12-20: Individual Practices/lessons if needed or requested
May 21: MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL 3:30 pm in Gym. All performers MUST attend. Full run through.
May 22: TALENT SHOWCASE 2015 5:30 pm @ H.S.A. GYM Art that was accepted will be displayed around the gym; student will need to stay with their art 5-5:30pm, and 15 minutes after the program. ALL students arrive @ 4:45 to be in places at 5:00 pm

K- 12 music students are performing in a winter program and they are ready to share the holiday spirit with you!
These students include general K-5 music students (all), and students who are in the music elective for 6-12.
There will be TWO concerts on Thursday, December 18th.
Students in Kinder through 3rd grades will perform at 5:30 pm. Students will need to be in their assigned areas of the gym at 5:00pm.
Students in the 4th through 12th grades will perform at 7:00 pm. Students will need to be in their assigned areas of the gym at 6:30pm.
The performers will be seated on each side of the gym; their rows will be labeled. The program will go in grade level order and there will be an opening song and finale. Your child MUST stay for the entire program.
WHAT TO WEAR
All students are asked to wear nice and festive attire. This could be classified as their Sunday best. Dresses need to have sleeves. No sleeveless attire. Students may also wear slacks and dress shirts. Please do not wear jeans.
Practice at home!
If you are able, please practice the songs with your child. Their music can be found on the music website: hsabcsmusic.wordpress.com
The music can be found under the tabs on the top of the page. Just click on the grade level. Since most students only have music once a week, practicing at home is very helpful!

I am so excited to start a new musical year at Harmony Science Academy- Bryan/College Station.
Here are some reminders:
K-3 grade students do not need to bring materials to class, they just need to be excited and ready to learn! They will learn how to sing tunefully, read and play rhythms, learn music from different cultures and languages and will participate in the Winter Program this December.
4th and 5th grade students will need to bring a recorder and cleaning rod to music class every week. You can purchase one at the String and Horn Shop in Downtown Bryan. Students are expected to bring these by the third week of music class. These students get to sing in the Winter Program, and if they get a Blue or Red Belt on their recorders, they get to play in the program as well!!!
6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will need a 1″ binder with notebook paper and 5 dividers for class. Also, always remember to bring a pencil to class. The students who sign up to take music will be performing in the Winter Program this December. Get excited!!!
High School Choir members will need a black 1″ binder to hold their music. Students will also need notebook paper for their Bellwork and a pencil. Performances are MANDATORY and count as exam grades.Performances include: Winter Program, Talent Show and any other performances assigned throughout the year.
